i will buy 620w and has 12v1 25A and 12V2 25A

so can this psu handle a r9 270 or r9 270x??
pc specs: a8 4 cores 3.00 ghz no oc 8 gb ram 1600mhz 500 hdd
psu is reliable brand

How much does that cost? I guess you are based in the UK. I have NEVER heard of that make before (I'm in the UK). So basically with PSU's I am far from a brand snob in any walk of life but if you haven't heard of the make then it won't power anything basically. It will be a paper weight after about a week.

I advise looking for another unit, but 620w should be enough power yes. I don't know who told you that brand was reliable (the person selling it possibly?) but don't believe them. I would not trust that PSU to power a light bulb.

it is reliable....friend has it....i am in greece....so no way getting from newegg...wanted to get from there so much!! but i am in greece...i just wanna know if the 12v would be enough..

OK well sorry about the PSU rant....

I would say that I THINK 25a relates to 300w accross that 12v rail and the R9 270x draws I think 180w under load so you should be OK.

I would not trust that even if your friend has had luck with it. I can find the OEM for it anywhere online and therefore would class it as generic rubbish. I would recommend PSUs made by SeaSonic (XFX, Arctic, Seasonic, some Antec and some Corsair)
