Is there any better cpu that will fit my motherboard

I have seen loads of people ask about this motherboard because it is cheap and it apparently supports high end FX chips.

It is not a good idea.

The board has very low end power VRMS and with high end FX processors it struggles.

One of two things will likely happen with a 6 or 8 core FX, the CPU will throttle its speed down all the time or you will get shutdowns with the lovely asus "CPU OVERVOLTAGE ERROR".

If you are going the FX route then budget for a good motherboard that is designed to power them well.

Take a look at:

M5A97 EVO R2.0

or

Gigabyte 970A-UD3P

If you stick to the FX4300 you maybe ok with the M5A78L-M but I would still get a better suited motherboard personally.
