Replacing PSU question.

Hello.

I will be replacing this crappy generic 300W PSU my brothers PC came with, with a CX750m. My question is, how long should I keep the crappy PSU powered off for before I change it ? I will be building my first rig today, and it would suck if I get electrocuted :p.

Turn off your computer. Disconnect the power cable from the wall to your PSU. Open your computer case and disconnect everything that is attached to the PSU and take it out. Don't worry, you shouldn't get electrocuted.
