how do I fix my laptop when it shows blank after I switched it on and shows nothing afterwards

Did you change anything to your laptop before this happened?
Did you installed any new software before this happened?
What do you mean by blank screen? Do you go into windows but just the icons are missing and a black backgroud? Or is your dispaly not showing anything, not even pre-Windows loading?
Also, do you have any monitor/TV that you can connect to your laptop to see if you have any video output?
