I've C2D E8400 & 4 GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM. I want to utilize full 1333Mhz freq. So which G41 Motherboard i should buy ?

Solution
Currently available boards on that chipset are few and far between.

Have a look for :

Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo or MSI G41M-P33

Both support DDR2 and DDR3 and are still available new. I could also find Biostar G41D3+ available new.

However I stress that running 1333mhz DDR3 on that chipset maybe hit and miss, its above the chipsets official spec.

Any that support DDR3 should work at the FSB speeds you are after.

However be aware the G41/3 chipset is a pretty poor chipset and most of the motherboards based on it will come paired with a fairly limited southbridge based on a standard ICH7 controller, that means no AHCI support which is pretty important with modern drives and ssd's! If you plan on overclocking they are pretty much limited to just 333mhz FSB also making them a poor choice.

It would be better to try and source a P35 or a P45 motherboard.

Okay, an E8400 is pretty old, so it's quite a bit out of date....

If I had some DDR3 RAM, and some money to spend, I go for something like a new AMD CPU & motherboard combo. You can see in this link that a New AMD CPU & motherboard is ONLY $70.... (see the FX 4130 quad core, it will rock that old E8400 dual core to death...)

But, if you have to work with it (out of perhaps a sentimental attachment? (Sorry, I can see a reason to go this route..)) there are Very few of those old motherboards still out there. You could go with one of these ASRock boards: $50--$70...

Bungz , I want to see 1333 Mhz freq. in CPUz RAM section. I'm not going for any kinda OC. I just want pure 1333 Mhz from RAM, CPU & MB. Mentioned me full model name

Thanks

Yeah, read my post. Bungz is saying the same thing, but more subtly. I'm more to the point, your wasting your time and money on an old Intel 775 system....... There are far better system available for the same or even LESS money....
