I am comparing Intel® Core™ i3-3217U Processor (1.8 GHz, 3 MB cache) with AMD A6-5200 Processor (2.0 GHz, 2 MB cache) from two different laptops.

I would think the battery life would be better on the Intel, but I think the AMD would be just a little bit better on performance but not by a massive margin. If you want portable, low heat and better battery life I would guess the Intel. But laptop models would help of course

Thank you. I would go for the AMD with the more powerful built-in graphics card because the specified battery life are bascially the same for both laptop models.
