Hi there. First time poster, so I hope this is a good place to put this, but I am trying to power my gtx 780ti superclocked by EVGA until my new power supply gets here (CORSAIR AX series AX860 860W). With my current PSU (APEVIA ATX-CB700W) my entire system will power off at load. I am thinking this is because the 2nd 12v rail doesn't supply enough amperage to the card, but I could be very wrong about that. Is it possible to power the GTX 780ti with this PSU until I get my new one? If someone wouldn't mind looking over the details of the APEVIA ATX-CB700W and the requirements of the 780ti I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance for the knowledge that can hopefully be provided.

If you're already having powering down issues with your current PSU, I would recommend waiting until your new PSU arrives.

Hi - Enemy1 is correct. Altho I haven't looked at the specs for that PSU, there are 4 Apevia PSU models on johnnylucky.org "Lemion List". This list is made up of PSU's that have failed trusted lab reviews. One of the negative comments on all 4 of these PSU's was false power labels & cannot deliver adv power:

Courtesy johnnylucky, from reviews by Hardware Secrets and jonnyguru:
Turbolink
ATX-TL450W-BK 450 Not 450 watts. Can only deliver 240 watts. Ripple and noise suppression out of spec. No required filtering coils in secondary. No Efficiency. Only one SATA power connector and no video card power connector.

Warlock Power 900 Not 900 watts as advertised. OCP and OTP missing. Terrible voltage regulation. Died four times during testing. Out of ATX spec on several tests.

Aspire Beast 680 Not 680 watts as advertised. Advertised voltages and amperages are incorrect. Shut down during testing. Mediocre efficiency.

Aspire X-Qpack 420 False power supply label. Not 420 watts as advertised. Delivered less than 300 watts. No PFC. Poor efficiency.

Given the nature of these reviews, there is a very high probability your PSU can't produce anywhere near it's rated wattage.

I wouldn't risk top tier components with it.
