Hello! I have the ATI Radeon HD 7790, I was thinking about upgrading to the ATI Radeon R9 270x.
I was just wondering how much an upgrade it is. Any input would help below are a list of follow up questions.

The core clock speed is lower then my other card, Would that make it a downgrade?
How much of an upgrade is this really, in your opinion?
Would I be better to just overclock my current card?

7790 has a power just a bit lower than a 7850, it had scores arround 1.80 teraflops of power, and 270x is basically a 7870ghz which has arround 2.70 teraflops of power, in my opinion it is a huge upgrade, and 270x also overclocks really awesome so you can easily get even more power from it, you can also play battlefield 4 on ultra preset with arround 50 fps average, this is just a proof of how good the performance of the card is, and bf4 is even an unoptimized game! Every penny you spend on this card is worth it, and it has one of best price/performance ratios on market, just buy it, throw it in your gaming rig, and enjoy while you can :D
