So today I clean-installed a Win8 but I can't seem to connect to the Internet with PPPoE connection as usual. Every time I enter my username and password, a BSOD appears with the message Driver IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL. I suppose it has to do something with the LAN cards- there is the onboard one which is Realtek and there is a Nvidia NForce one. I tried installing a Win Vista driver to it but it only made the device problematic in the device manager so I "downgraded it". I'll try a Win 7 one later. Any ideas?
