I have tried loading the drivers many times but it fails. Bios is set to pcie and now no fans are running on the gpu. I have a asrock z87 extreme4 and a evga gtx 760. It doesn't show up in device manager at all.

When I tired putting the card into the alt pcie slot the screen was just blank and had code:62 on the mobo. Does that mean anything?

Does your video card take one or two 4/6/8 pin connectors?

6 and 8 pin? it's supposed to be two of the same, not one with 6 and one with 8. Double check that for me, doesn't sound right at all.

Hi,

Error 62 : Definitively related to video card power problem.

What is your power supply: might be too weak, might need 2 X 6 pins.
Sometimes some video card doesn't work if you use power plug adapter.
The 760 need at least a good 500w power supply.
