Where is my bottleneck in CPU vs. GPU?

Hello, all! I have been reading for hours and hours trying to find information on my case trying to decrease rendering times for After Effects 3D and compositing/post production in Premiere Pro. I know Adobe utilizes CUDA for GPU rendering over CPU. Currently here's my setup:

Asus P6t Deluxe V2
Intel i7 920
DDR3 24GB (6x4GB) 1600MHz Viper II Sector 7
dual SSD for my OS
Nvidia GTX 560 Ti
750w PSU
Win 8.1
Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

My concern is that the 560 Ti is not on the official supported card list even though I can do a hack enable it to work with Adobe, but I think my GPU is what is lagging my workflow and wanted to confirm with people here if that is the case with me or not.

For faster video editing and graphics (non-gaming) would you say it would be more worthwhile to upgrade the CPU/Mobo or getting a GTX 760 4gb video card? I'm actually happy with how fast my apps load on my system as it is and really don't think my problem in rendering and compositing has necessarily to do with the CPU so much as the GPU.

Thanks so much in advance for your advice! I really appreciate it.
