Looking to move onto a new pc rather than my prebuilt HP that has an upgraded GPU and power supply. Looking to keep my current GPU which should help cost significantly. I tend to lean towards AMD but if convinced i can go Intel. Let me know what your thoughts are!

Budget Range: $400

System Usage from Most to Least Important: MUST be able to play League on Max, Skyrim on max would also be amazing

Parts to Upgrade:
Everything except GPU, Power Supply is available to reuse but can be upgraded

MSI Radeon HD 7770 GHz edition
Antec VP-450 450W ATX 12V v2.3 Power Supply

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg preferred

Parts Preferences: by brand or type (e.g.: I would like to upgrade to Intel CPU)

Overclocking: Maybe, but highly doubtful

Resolution: Monitor 1 1680x1050, Monitor 2 1280x1024

More about : build based gpu

iceclock's build is pretty much the best you're going to get at that budget.

You probably are not going to get max settings on Skyrim (its heavily CPU intensive, if I'm remembering correctly), but you should be able to get decent performance from current gen games.

If you don't care about the optical drive (or better yet if you can salvage it from your old computer), than drop it and put the money into getting a better mobo. A $60 ASRock Mobo isn't going to die instantly, but something like an $80 low-tier ASUS mobo will be better built.

(Also don't even think of overclocking this setup, it will *not* work)
