I recently upgraded to this case and love it! but my issue is the way the fans are working. They always run at high speed, from the moment i turn on my computer they turn on high. if i start a game they don't speed up or slow down, they run the same speed all the time! I only have the two fans that came with the case and i have the molex connected to my PSU and the fans came connected to the 2 ports for the fan controller already. I tried switching the fans to another fan connector but it still ran the same speed. not sure what else to do?

I use a fan controller:)
This one pictured below and i adjust the fans so i can't hear them

it should not have a fan controller, for example my case is pictured with a fan controller all the time (zalman Z11 plus) but it does not come with one
I actually plug in the fans to the mobo, and use a program, like ASUS fan control (I have an ASUS mobo) to control the fans. it works nicely and you can pre set how they work over warmer temperature as well

That website does state that the case comes with a fan controller.

This may sound silly but are the fans hooked up to the controller correctly?

I have a CM Stryker. The fan controller is hooked up to the PSU via molex and the fans are then sent power from the controller.

I would suggest using your motherboard headers if your Mobo/Fans support PWM as you can set them up for desired quietness/temperature control based on the temps of your hardware.
