Hey guys. I was thinking about which one I should choose.. A GTX 780 or R9 280X Crossfire. I already have a R9 280X crossfire, but it's not everytime that it has the power that I need. Sometimes it laggs a bit in Battlefield 4. Sometimes 40 FPS on Ultra settings. I just want some more power, lel.

Well cheapest option right now would actually be to get a 780 with the recent crazy price increase on the 280x's...it's sad, but they pretty much the same price as a 780. You will however get better fps with crossfire 280x, but may run into frametime issues and stutter. (not always though)

nice, it's a no brainer at those prices, in canada it's like 550 for the 280x and 500 for the 780 due to people buying the amd cards in mass quantities for bitcoin mining (which will die out soon anyway)

as long as your on a single monitor crossfire hasn't had issues for quite a long time. that said i would try to avoid it if i had to due to added power draw and heat. but there is no question that crossfire 280x's will be much faster than even a voltmodded waterblocked 780ti@1.5ghz
