intel core 2 quad q6600 drivers

Hi,
I was wondering if there's any drivers for the processor above as when i used a intel core 2 duo e4600 which has lower spec i got more rating in the windows rating index than the wuad core one so there must be some problem with either the drivers or the processor.
if anyone could help with this i would really appreciate it.

CPUs don't really have "drivers" anymore that you can just change. Windows recognizes it and installs basic CPU identifying drivers, performance comes from the hardware itself and not a software interface.

And don't put stock in the Windows Experience Index, it's not a very good way to gauge performance of any computer component. I bet you, dollars to pesos, that the Q6600 will outperform the E4600 in the real world regardless of the WEI score.
