What is better for gaming a HP 17-e019dx or toshiba p55-a5200 PLEASE help

Solution
Let's see their specs

HP

CPU: i3-4000M
GPU: Intel HD 46000
RAM: 8GB
RES: 1600 x 900

Toshiba

CPU: i5-3337U
GPU: Intel HD 3000
RAM: 6GB
RES: 1920 x 1080

They're both very weak laptops for gaming but are fine for work. The Toshiba would be better for work with its Higer resolution , but the HP would be better for gaming or at least silly higher FPS in games because of its lower screen resolution and better integrated graphics. The HP has a weaker CPU , but as long as you play non-CPU intensive games, you should be fine.

Common games that you could play are Valve's games , Minecraft , and some old games. But don't spawn too many items in Minecraft or you wou,d face some lag because of the CPU

Main reasons why laptops are more expensive is because they offer a lot more portability. That's what most people want. However, getting a cheap US$400 tablet for work , maybe the Asus transformer T100 , and building your own PC for gaming, would be better.
