Would I have to upgrade my motherboard for this CPU upgrade?

Hi forum,
I'm about upgrading my CPU from an AMD fx-4170 to an AMD fx-8320 and intending to overclock to about 4.6GHz, but I don't know whether I should upgrade my motherboard or not. I am currently using a GIGABYTE GA -78MLT-USB3 and I'm not sure whether it would be able to handle the extra heat and power draw from upgrading to a quad-core to an octa-core.
Thanks, Oliver

Your motherboard supports the whole FX Family, so it will be compatible and will cope absolutely fine,if you are worried about heat then you could buy a better heat sink or water cool it. :)

Thanks, I am already using an Arctic Freezer A30 cooler on my 4170 @ 4.5GHz at 1300 rpm idle. I'll see how it runs on my new CPU when it comes :)
