PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD FX-4130 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor ($99.99 @ Newegg)
this is a bit light. i'd suggest at least a 6300

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+
Motherboard
($58.98 @ Newegg)
may want to go with a better motherboard which supports faster ram (its in the same ballpark price)

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($77.99 @ Newegg)
you want to go with 1600mhz at minimum

Storage: Sandisk 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($92.98 @ OutletPC)
it would be best if you ignored a ssd for your budget and upgraded your cpu, mobo, ram and gpu instead.

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.98 @ OutletPC)
this works.

Video Card: Asus Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card ($160.98 @ SuperBiiz)
not a terrible option for a budget level computer.

Case: NZXT Source 220 ATX Mid Tower Case ($44.99 @ TigerDirect)
you have a micro atx motherboard. you can go with a cougar spike matx case for $25. great case for the size and money.

Power Supply: Corsair CX 430W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($29.99 @ Newegg)
probably fine but its low end. if you get a 6300 and bump the gpu up a notch double check the power specs (might want to get a 500w instead)

Optical Drive: LG GH24NSB0 DVD/CD Writer ($19.98 @ OutletPC)
your choice

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($88.98 @ OutletPC)
good

Total: $717.84
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
