New Gaming Monitor (1 or 2 screens)

Hey Community,

Looking to upgrade some old monitors i have, They have done their job very well and have no dead pixels or issues like that. Cant remember the exact models, but an old 19inch dell and a 27inch dell.

Looking to upgrade, was wondering, should i go 2 X http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=558_1212&products_id=24774

There is a big difference between the two monitors....The Dell is obviously a lot better. The question is the real estate you want to display (2 monitors at 1920 x 1080 give you 3840 x 1080 desktop) vs. the quality of the Dell. At normal desktop situations (8-18 inches from monitor to your head) a 24" monitor is optimal in my opinion. Larger than 24", you really want to start moving back from the screen to see the true clarity of a desktop computer. I have not tried the new 27" IPS models....so I can't speak to those - just my desktop real estate and loving my 4 X 24" monitors.

If you're purchasing a gaming monitor, you should preferably grab a monitor with 120/144hz and response time under 2ms.
