PC posts(beep), but no splash screen. Windows continues to load(login sound), but no display.

Hi, sorry I'm not sure if I'm posting to the correct forum. My pc posts(beep), but no splash screen. I get the Windows loading sound, but no display.

Windows 7
MSI Z77A-GD65 motherboard
Intel i5 3570k
Kingston HyperX 16GB(4x4) RAM DDR3
EVGA GTX 670 video card
Corsair TX V2 series 850w power supply

Yesterday, the PC powered on and hung for a few seconds then shut off, then a second later restarted and went through POST and there was a BIOS update. Thanks in advance.

I assume the Screen is plugged into the GPU it would probably work if you plugged it directly into the mobo for a temporary solution. First try making sure the GPU is well fitted into the socket and maybe try taking it out and putting it back in. if that doesn't fix it plug your display into the mobo which should work and go into the bios and check your GPU for any problems or if it is even being recognized by the mobo.
