Hey right now on my desktop PC I am running an i3 Sandy Bridge on an H61M mobo paired with a Power Color AX6850 GPU and a CX500 PSU.

Thanks to Christmas I have around 280 USD to invest in upgrades and really don't know where to begin. I saw that AMD FX-8320 was on sale, but am unsure of whether or not this will be worth investing in it.

My current build is used solely for gaming and browsing the web. Any thoughts or ideas would be great. Thanks.

upgrade your bios the h61m and get a i5 3470

going from intel to amd isnt worth it

due to changing mobo processor and os and aftermarket heatsink

when you can get a good processor and heatsink plus intel is much faster in single core performance so its good...
