i swapped hdd out with ssd and now i have problem with runing games

so i got this ssd for xmas, So i made a backup of my hdd and then i uploaded to my ssd and swapped my drives so when i booted my pc and when i started to play a games that i could run before with a good fps but now i only have 5fps in mw2,garrysmode and bf3 and i have no idea what happend,
please help!

specs:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz.

RAM 3,00GB

GPU:geforce 9600 gt

It sounds ugly, but I would wipe the SSD, do a fresh install of the OS on the SSD, and re-install all drivers, applications and data.
Then wipe your old drive and use it as a storage drive.
