Hello.
I have just finished building a new £650 pc
The specs are
Nvidia geforce gtx 650 1gb
AMD A6 5400k 3.6ghz with a radeon gpu (not sure which one, doesn't really matter)
4gb ram
1TB harddrive

I was told this pc would give me Amazing performance, however, after running Heaven, at High quality, i get A score of 463, with an average of 18.4 fps. I played around with the gpu tweaker, but this didn't really do much. Right now i'm really worried i was done over at the store i purchased from. Or, have i put this system together wrong?
Thanks
Levi

levi with a new build you first have to put in the drivers needed to run the hardware. there should be a mb driver cd that came with the new motherboard if there is none go online to the motherboard vendor web page and download all of the drivers there. then install them and reboot. go into windows device manager make sure there no yellow !!! for missing drivers. under video devices there should be amd video device and nvidia gtx 650 if there any that say standard vga device your missing the amd/nvidia gpu drivers. when the gpu drivers are installed make sure your video cable plugged into the nvida gpu port then rerun the demo to see if the numbers change.

you spent way too much on that rig. its a weak cpu paired with a weak gpu with minimum ram. that cpu is supposed to be in media PCs where there is no dedicated GPU and the GPU you have is meant for entry level gaming

Hi i have installed all the drivers, and checked on device manager and there is no yellow. The annoying thing is, WoW runs on high at about 40fps, yet minecraft struggles above 30! I'm really worried that i have wasted my money now. Is there any thing else i can do??
