-----------------------------WARNING FIRST POST ON FORUM-----------------------------------

Ok so I have just started upgrading my old rig and everything worked fine. I tested my new 780 on my old rig and it was functioning playing Arkham (it had some flickering but I assume that was from the old 500 watt power supply).

The problem started after I installed a new PSU (ATX1200 Watt Gold).

These are the mistakes I made:

1) I plugged the Power,Reset,H.D.DD LED, adn the other leds both incorrectly in the JFP 1 and JFP 2

2) I plugged a fan into the JTPM 1

3) I had the RAM loose and only partially in the board

4) I Forgot to plug in the 8 pin MB connector in the top left

After all this I finally have everything correctly connected to my old power supply and with my old graphics card (I was trying to see if the rig still worked in it's original state)

The issues:

1) No wired speaker resonse (no beeps) even after numorous tests with/without the RAM and the old & new video cards.

2) No display even after the BIOS and CMOS had been reset.

3) All of the fans and indicator lights are on and running but again no display or beeps.

4) No power to the USB on the MB or front panels (I tried using contol alt delete to see if the BIOS was runnig)

5) The computer has not been very good about turing on the display so usually if it doesn't beep I will have to reset it and turn on the monitor manually

6) The SATA cable is sort of bent in places

The Question(s):

1) Is my MB fried?

2) Are there any solutions to this problem other than the standard "cable checks, component checks", or other standard solutions?

3) Can this issue be fixed by myself or a tech?

4) If it is compleatly unsalvageable what MB should I aim for? I want to be able to tri SLI and add a lot of silent fans or near complete liquid cooling (not sure if a MB can support both AMD and Intel but if so then that is a must).

5) Is problem 5 the same issue as problem 1 just on a larger scale?

6) Does the SATA cable work the same as an ATA cable?

I make youtube videos and do a lot of heavy gaming for my channel and for fun so this issue is kind of important for me to fix. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
