Hi guys,
to sum up, atm I have intel i5 4570 along side with gtx 660 with motherboard asus H87M-PLUS. I am gonna get GTX 690 as a gift from a friend. My power supply is 500w so I know that I have to change it but will my CPU be able to deal with this GPU. Sorry if the question is retarded, I just wanna know an answer.

Thats not true, the CPU supplies the gpu with the information it needs to process, if the cpu is too slow it cant fully utilize the entire graphics card, and it will be bottlenecked.
However that cpu can support the 690.
