Looking for some feedback and opinions.
Would I be better off with two XFX Radeon 7870 HD running is crossfire mode with a ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z motherboard?
I have a Antec TruePower Classic series TP-750C 750W 80 PLUS GOLD power supply.
So I have four 6 pin connectors to power 2 cards. Would you agree that this PSU is sufficient for this setup?

Or is this combination way off, would buying a newer single high end card really be that much better?
This will be for gaming and I plan to setup a 3 monitor display a few months later.

I would love to here from someone who is currently running this setup.
Thanks for any feedback in advance.

Antec is a good PS and should fire up 2 * 7870 (270x) just fine, your system should draw under or around 650W when OCed. Money would be best spent on a second 7870, you would have to get something real top end to best a pair of them in XFire. I think you can add a 270x if they are cheaper than another 7870.

Thanks
That's what I was hoping to hear.
These cards were $159 each but they sold out before I got a pair.

Am I right in thinking that all radeon 7870 hd cards are not equal. If so in you're opinion would the top 3 brands be?

I would start another thread with this question, you'll get 100 different responses. ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte are the big 3, can't go much wrong with any of them
