So I've had a single R9 270X for a little bit and i recently got a 2nd 270x. I turned off my computer, plugged in the new card, and when i turned it on, i enabled crossfire, and tried it out. I saw no frame boost. I opened up GPU-z and for my second card it saw the bus width as 32-bit instead of 256. The bandwidth is also 22.4 GBs instead of 179.2GBs. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, swapping cards, just using the new card itself to see if it is corrupt. Nothing seems to work, what do I do?

what kind of slot are you using for your second graphics card, it may be 16x in size but it could be 4x in bandwidth, that might be your problem, the slots should be marked right under the slots.

Both cards are running in pci 2.0 at x16. My motherboard can do 3 way cards. One card at x16, 2 at x16, x16 and 3 at x16 ,16 x8. I have already figured it out, it turns out it's just at idle and it's not as much of aperformance boost as I had hoped for. But thanks for the help
