Hello, as the title says i am torn between these two video cards. I want to play bf4 on ultra above 30 fps all the time, and generally have great performance, i will also be playing dayz, and id like to spend no more than $200. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Solution
Both these cards may drop below 30 FPS on Ultra settings:

If you drop down to High settings, they both run great:

If you do want Ultra settings, maybe look at a better card, like the R9 270X or GTX 760.
These are Battlefield 3 benchmarks, but show the relative performance of the GTX 660, R9 270X and GTX 760.

Solution

Chances are any of these cards you buy will have a modest over clock from the manufacturer.
An R9 270X is the same chip as an R9 270 but with higher clock rates.
AMD selects the better chips for R9 270X cards, so I doubt you will get an R9 270 to the same clock rate.
The R9 270 is faster than the GTX 660.

I mention the R9 270X and GTX 760 as the next tier up because they are the next tear from AMD and Nvidia, but the GTX 760 is actually much faster than the R9 270X.
