Ok, so I built my first computer recently. I installed a corsair h100i and it is driving me nuts. Its fans are constantly going to their full rpm and then go to their lowest. I would use corsair link software to change the fan speed but I have windows 8.1 and the cooler doesn't show up. I know it's seated properly and everything is hooked up right because my 3770k idles around 30* C.I m pretty sure the pump is working to.Anyways I could really use some insight on what the problem could be.

System specs

Motherboard- Asus p8z77-v pro
CPU- i7 3770k
GPU- MSI GTX 760 twin frozr 2gb edition
PSU- corsair rm 750
HDD-WD Black 1tb
OS- windows 8.1 pro 64 bit

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm thinking your fan profiles might be in performance mode. Between 40 and 50 degrees, that profile goes from 1300 to just over 3000 rpm but with LINK not supported in win8, you can't use that to adjust it. You could try bypassing it though. Plug the fans directly into the mobo and control them with it.

Hey thanks for the reply. it worked the fans are a lot more quiet. I'm just wondering if the fan speeds will speed up when the cpu is under load. Oh well I guess I will have to wait for LINK to be updated so I can get the customizability I want. Anyways thanks
