Hey guys

Well I've been doing some reading online and im hearing all about the future benefits of the i7 4770k and its hyper threading. About 10 days ago I ordered the i5 4670k from newegg and d I love it, but im worried that if the new consoles are optimized for 8 cores, I should have bought the i7. I'm kinda new at this stuff so deal with me xD

Is it possible to rebox the CPU and return it to newegg for my money back then get the i7?
Or is my OCD just making me not think right? (is the i5 truly going to last me for more than a few years?)

That's true and all, but do you believe that the i5 4670k will keep me "future proofed" for a while? People DO say that the i7 makes a difference in bf4 over the i5.... I don't want to upgrade my stuff for a while

I have the 4770k and seem to be getting pretty similar framerates to 4670k users who post Youtube videos of their gameplay. I mainly went with the i7 for recording gameplay and rendering the video afterwards. If not for that, I would have gone the i5 route.
