OK, I have a Samsung tv and a Samsung monitor. I am using a Nvidia GeForce gts 450 graphics card. When I try to set up multiple cloned displays I get a duplicate display on my tv and monitor. which is what I want. The problem is when I turn off the tv, the monitor only shows half a picture. I think the settings go to the extend display setting. But when I unplug the hdmi cable from the computer I get a full picture.If I plug the hdmi for the tv in and boot the computer,as long as the tv is turned off I get a full screen picture on the monitor. If the tv and monitor is connected to the computer when I turn on the computer, I only get a blue screen on the monitor.
