I suggest you to upgrade to FX9370. However, if you're on a budget, get an FX 8350 with a decent cooler.

Thank you. I rly dont like the combination of amd fx 6100 with my Nvidia 660 ti i think its kinda weak i dont like the performance at all. My motherboard is bad too cause my upgrade options are only till FX 8150. So i guess i need a motherboard too and i dont know which one to get lol but hey man thanks for ur answer.

Even the FX 4300 will pwn the FX 6100. So, your bottom line will be that.

If you have to get a new motherboard for which or whatever reason, there is the i5-4670k.

The FX 8350 would be a great upgrade, but if you can stretch your money further, you should go for the FX 9370 (one of the top CPU'S out there)

go for the ASRock 990FX Extreme3 its a good gaming motherboard. Definitely supports the processors. But this is just one that i thought of off the top of my head, so i would suggest doing a bit more research on them.

here is a link to the details: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/990FX%20Extreme3/

Or, if you want to stick with AMD (which isn't a bad option either)

AMD FX 9370 Vishera:

Well thank you so much for the answers. I got one question, i think im going for the intel motherboard but i read that its a windows 8 hardware or so, i have windows 7 on my hard drive is it ok or do i need also a windows 8 copy? I hope not. Also, i got 10 gb ram on this computer, is it going to be compatible with the Motherboard? One last thing, I think my Case is kinda tight if u know what i mean i dont know if i should get another case or no. Do u recommend? Thanks again.
