for 250 a 270x or 760 are somewhat close, but neither will max 1080p resolution.

for $250 you can buy a pretty decent graphics card which can max out lots of high-end games at 1080p. A 7870 XT or a 7950 3GB if you can find one cheap where you live will do a stunning job for the price. the 7950 might be hard for under $250 but there are some where I live, a 7870 XT will be under $250 and they run on a 2GB 256-bit memory interface which does a very decent job at playing games at 1080p.The 7870 XT runs at 192GB/s and that is very good for a card in that price region, a 7950 is higher but it is the level up so expect a higher difference. Crossfiring a 7870 XT would be a very very powerful rig, they do work well in crossfire and for the price two of them cost, buying two of them is a very good deal for the performance you get. Just make sure your cooling in the case is good because crossfire gets pretty hot.

GTX 760 is a good choice but you will have problem with your CPU maybe. Also 500w PSU is not safe if you wanna add a GPU.

Yeah just saw that, a 7870 XT should be a a good price and a very good performer. They 7870 was $220 so it should be just a little over

Im just going to throw in my 2 cents about BF4 and the GTX 760..

I run with Everything on Ultra... No MSAA...Low AA Post at 1920x1080 and never dip below 50FPS (In crazy Explosions I get 50FPS)

NO OC (Factory or Personal) - System Spec in Sig.

$250 for a 270 is not worth it, you can get a 760 near that and a 760 is much more powerful than a 270. it's either a 270x or a 760 and a 760 is the better card.
