After putting together a new rig, the last thing that had to be done(after updating the Motherboard Drivers) was to update the graphics drivers. The problem is after I install the Nvidia Graphics drivers for my Galaxy Geforce GTX 770 HOF graghics card, I encounter the BSOD upon restart. I have narrowed it to the video driver update by trying to install it only.

I tried installing the most recent version, the version that came with the Graphics Card, the version on Galaxytech's website, an older version, and the most recent beta version.

Memtest returned: No errors

The code I receive upon reboot is:
Stop: 0x00000116(0xFFFFFAb00f285010. 0xFFFFF880111E4034, 0x0000000000000000, 0xx0000000000000002)

The Components of the rig are:
Galaxy Geforce GTX 770 HOF
Asus Sabertooth 990fx R2.0
AMD 8 Fx 8350
Silencer MK II 750 W PSU

Do you have any ideas on how to fix these BSODs?

Thank You for your time!

Reinstall windows?

Can you post your BSOD log so we can see the code its giving you? It might not even be related to the gpu at all like anti virus is a common cause for BSOD.

I got them from the nvidia website. Tried three different ones. The newest, the newest beta, and the an older from a couple months back.

I was able to boot by uninstalling the drivers in safe mode(through Device Manager). This allows the computer to boot normally, but really hinders my graphics capabilities.

The fact that it's galaxy, mine is sparkle so both are cheap makes - I guess the only thing you can do is see if another type of gpu (from a more reputable company like ASUS, EVGA)
