PC turns on but doesn't boot

Hi, my pc powers on when i press the power button but monitor shows nothing and no boot sound. I removed the memory modules, gpu, hdd but the pc still doesn't boot or doesn't give any noise. There is no other card plugged into the motherboard.

What may be the problem?

could I get some basic system specs, have there been any recent bios updates and have your tried clearing cmos?

no, no bios change or updates etc. it is core 2 duo, ddr2 system, ı unplugged the battery from motherboard for 10 minutes then put it back, but nothing changed still no boot.

Only thing I can think of is a power supply issue or some problem with mobo or CPU. Try making sure psu connections are all good, sorry can't think of much else besides broken parts

I tried with a different psu still nothing happens. Later i removed the cpu and powered the motherboard, still no beeps or any other noise from the motherboard.
