i had i3 2120 3.3 ghz with dh611 mtherboard,
i had a case psu but replaced it with corsair vs 650. also installed gtx 760 gigabyte along with it.
now my i3 temperature goes to 100 c at start but goes to normal( 45c). and then stays normal but when my cpu usage goes upto 70 % ( because of gaming or video conversion), the temperature reaches to 100c within 20 seconds. my bios is older. and it worked fine before the installation of psu and gpu.

Solution
Thats breaching the realm of "Bad for your card" to literally unsafe. 100C doesn't come from bad bios.

I know this is a bad answer for you, but stop running that machine until you figure it out. Start with the PSU, make sure the fans are working (did you unplug the cpu fan by accident)? Just start small, at the physical things and go from there.

well, after installing the new gpu, the cpu is struggling to keep up! also if the temp readings are correct maybe you need to apply a new thermal paste on the cpu.in any case check if the case is ventilated properly and the fans are spinning and not slowed down by dust!
