high definition videos

i have problem im display of videos and movies, when im watching videos on youtube i can see them with 720 or 1080 and they look perfect and bright, but when i play hd movie that is saved on my pc it looks a lil bit not clear, but the same movies when i watch it on lcd tv its so bright and clear, i dont understand why its not clear on my pc, i have graphic card bvidia 720m and integrated intel 4000

lol come on you think i dont know what im downloading, of course hd 720 or 1080 but both of them working like some hd rip quality on my lap, resulotion of my screen is 1366-768, im watching lot of videos on youtube now on 1080 very bright

Well if your screen has a max resolution of 768p, that is the best you can do, which is about 720p. Pretty standard for a laptop.

You can't even fully utilize 1080p videos. It will look slightly better than 720p, but probably just play smoother due to higher bitrates (Makes videos smoother.)

Download a movie that is a 720p Blu-ray rip or something. then watch that and tell me how it looks, I bet it will look noticeably better. You can always check the resolution on any video file by going to its properties.
