My CPU fx-8350 (@stock) temperatures are reaching 79c with stock cooler while playing battlefield 4.:pfff:
so i wanted to get myself an aftermarket cooler.
but im confused about which one should i go for...??
is it worth spending extra on a closed loop liquid cooler or should i go with an air cooler.
after checking the reviews i found out that hyper 212 was a good performer in case of air coolers while h80i was good in case of liquid cooling.
which of these should i prefer...??
as hyper 212 is half the price of h80i.
is it worth spending the extra on h80i..??

my rig
fx 8350 (at stock)
asus radeon r9 280x v2
corsair vengeance 8gb ddr3 ram
2 x 120mm intake fan ,2 x 120 mm exhaust fan
corsair cx600 psu
cooler master elite 431 plus cabinet.

one more question.
is my case proper for the any of the above coolers?
will they fit?
and for the h80i, is my psu enough for this config and h80i?
does h80i draw extra power for the pumps...??

sorry for asking so many questions. but im pretty much confused regarding these as im a beginner.:p

Solution
Your case can be set up for Plenty of air flow:

Cooling System:
Front: 120mm Blue LED fan x 1, 140mm (optional)
Top: 120mm fan x 2 (optional)
Rear: 80/90/120 mm fan x 1 (optional)
Bottom: 80/90/120mm fan x 1 (optional)

I would make Front and Bottom INTAKES (make them both 120mm, believe you have a 92mm now, replace)
I would make Rear and BOTH Top EXHAUST (believe you have one top as INTAKE at present, reverse it)

I would buy the 212 EVO. I have one works great, dead silent..... (be sure to orient the cooler to blow air to back of case toward your Rear 120mm EXHAUST fan...)

I also have this Noctua Cooler (twice the price, very nice, BUT Only maybe 5% better cooling. NOT worth the extra money either...)...
