Smart TV 3G wifi hotspot

Hi ,
I hav 3G idea sim . i want to connect it to my new smart tv sony 32w670 . It has only one USB port. i am using that for skype camera.. So ther is no usb port for 3g dongle.Now i am creating own wifi hotspot by using my smartfone. But is very difficult to change sim everytime.I heard that we can make wifi hotspot by using wifi routers. If i purchase a dongle for idea sim , will it compatible with wifi router? if so tell me the name of the particular routers .Please give suggestion .

It is not that simple when it comes to a compatible router. First you want to search for broadband capable routers. Asus and tp-link have models and of course the most well known is cradlepoint.

Now you must go though the list of compatible devices. It is not just the device itself it is very dependent on the carrier. The exact same device may be used by 2 different ISP but they use different drivers. Some ISP refuse to give the information to the router manufactures so those devices will not ever work on a router.

It is a matter of going though those huge lists and making sure the EXACT model of USB dongle and your ISP is on the list.

You may be best off calling the ISP and ask them for a recommendation.....many sell routers
