I've been having trouble with my keyboard on an Asus K53E laptop. I can be typing along and suddenly I find that there is no blinking cursor so I can't type any more. There have been times when the cursor will relocate to somewhere else and the typing continues there. I'm thinking about replacing the keyboard, but I'm not sure that is the solution. Hopefully someone can help me out and have a solution.

Asus K series laptops have these problems....it's the fact that you are hitting the touchpad while typing and the touchpad is moving the cursor. Try disableing the touchpad when you type (there should be a FN + Function key to do this)
