Query regarding PWM Splitters and case fans.

Hi, I play on getting the 2 of following fans for my case:-

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AKO0GRI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE (I have one of these already)

and

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AKO16BS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

This means I have 5 fans in total. I have an MSI MPower MAX motherboard which has only 3 "System Fan" headers so I plan to use the following PWM splitter :-

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005FWXWPS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

I wanted to check with the knowledgeable Tom's collective that running 2 sets of fans from 2 splitters isn't going to be too much for my mobo as I've read this can be an issue. Should this all work fine, or would anybody suggest an alternative method of connecting?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

  1. It should be fine it wont damage your motherboard in anyway the only negative you may get is having the fans run at lower rpm's but if that happens you can always get moxel to 3 pin fan header cables. Hope this helps :)
