My custom built PC is as follows:

Motherboard: GA-78lmt-S2P
PSU: G7 Power Extreme 680W
GPU: HD 7870 GHz Edition Sapphire, 2GB GDDR5
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 (can't remember the make, lost the box) + 2 GB DDR3 (Ballistix Sport)
HDD: Samsung HD103SJ ATA
CPU: AMD FX-6100 6 cores 3.31 GHz per core
Monitor: HDTV Toshiba (connection to PC: HDMI)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

Is there something wrong with my built as per specs above? Every game I play I get a slight stuttering or more like pausing for a fraction of a second especially when moving forward or into areas it seems that the game needs to load stuff. That occurs regardless of in game graphics settings, even on lowest settings and resolution. I have also tried changing some settings in Catalyst Control Center and also using only the 8 GB RAM and disconnecting the 2 GB one. I also tried using the two matching Ballistix 2GB DDR3 RAM I have, no luck.

I have disabled all non windows services in msconfig and all of the startup programs. Have also uninstalled antivirus and set power options to high performance. Have also tried a reformat of my system and clean install of Windows 7. After I did the clean install the stuttering/pausing was still there but occurred less frequently and as soon as I updated to the latest drivers for my HD 7870 the same level of stuttering and pausing started. Have done some research online and saw that 13.9 had this stutter. So I uninstalled the drivers for the HD 7870 and installed the 13.4 drivers which according to a forum had no stutter/pauses. But no luck.

Please help if you can.

As soon as I say that the games stutter because the devs are to blame and not my hardware everyone's gonna start answering my post saying that it's system the problem and that my cpu, gpu or hdd must be faulty.

Third rig I build with different gpu, hdd, cpu, motherboard and monitor now and still I get stuttering.
