Hi. I've been looking for the MSI R9 270X Twin Frozr...I have not find one place that sells it! NCIX, NewEgg, Amazon, TigerDirect. I even attempted to search it on eBay, only 8 results, 7 of which where just barebones/prebuilt PC's, the other one was a MSI R9 Hawk. I don't understand, what's the interest in this card? Why does every retailer have it out-of-stock? I assumed at first it was bitcoin miners, but the prices of the R9 270X's would surely inflate if that was the case. I'm quite baffled to be quite honest. Any info. is appreciated!

I understand that, but what I'm getting at is -- all the MSI brand R9 270X's are out of stock, every retailer have them out-of-stock, eBay have them OUT OF STOCK. I'm desperately looking for one!

check for a 7870, I reckon that you know that they are the same card, but there might be some in stock.
Actually I have no idea. here in UK we have them in stock
I would say starter bitcoiners, or as whitecat pointed out, at its price point, it is quite awesome

I just came back from Microcenter. They think it's because of Litecoin miners. Digital currency miners are buying all of the high end Radeons. This is hurting midrange cards now too. I worry that it's taking away manufacturing capacity to keep up with demand. I could be wrong but I think MSI recently (last week) launched another card too. This may have forced them to stop pumping out 270s and 270xs.
