Laptop RAM - 4GB 1600Mhz vs 8GB 1333Mhz?

I recently bought a Clevo W350STQ. i5 4200m & GTX765M.

This came with 2 x 2GB Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz RAM.

(JEDEC standard 1.5V (1.425V ~ 1.575V) Power Supply
VDDQ = 1.5V (1.425V ~ 1.575V)
800MHz fCK for 1600Mb/sec/pin
8 independent internal bank
Programmable CAS Latency: 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5)

I have 2 x 4GB random 1333Mhz RAM from an old laptop

(Channels # Dual
DRAM Frequency 665.1 MHz
CAS# Latency (CL) 9 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD) 9 clocks
RAS# Precharge (tRP) 9 clocks
Cycle Time (tRAS) 24 clocks
Command Rate (CR) 1T)

Which of these will provide the best performance for gaming?

More about laptop ram 4gb 1600mhz 8gb 1333mhz
  1. the kingston ones imo, there is a big performance difference between 1600mhz and 1333mhz
+ I barely know games that require 8gb of ram
  2. I would go with the 8GB RAM. Although you may not see any noticeable performance increase, switching to the desktop using 'Alt+Tab' will make things be lag free faster and you won't have to wait a long time before it actually loads up. Also, newer titles may run on 4GB RAM even though they state 6GB is minimum, but a 4GB won't be able to handle browsing the internet and playing a game simultaneosly. Also, for a laptop I'd say the more the RAM the better... However, these are my views.
