I am running Windows 7-32 Bit and I just upgraded my memory from 4GB's to 8GB's of Corsair Vengeance LP. I have put it in correctly and it has registered but it says Installed Memory (RAM): 8GB (2.97 Usable). Please help!

It's actually around 3.3GB. And then some off of that, used by the system. Hence his '2.97GB usable'

Because you didn't ask in here....:bounce:
I would have said get 64bit.

And moving from 32 to 64bit is a full reinstall, not an 'upgrade'.

All Windows 7 product keys are valid for both 32-bit and 64-bit (excluding Win 7 Starter). It's up to you which architecture to install.

The only difference between buying a 32-bit version and a 64-bit version is the installation media that comes with it.

Unfortunately the only way to switch is with a full re-install of Windows. If you want to go ahead with this you can download the 64-bit version of Windows from links on this site - http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads.12325/
