You should spend less on the RAM and get a better GPU if this is a gaming rig. You don't need 16GB of RAM for gaming. Here, try this build out (you can switch the case to whatever you like, I just pick what's cost effective with decent airflow)

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($239.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master RR-T4-18PK-R1 70.0 CFM Rifle Bearing CPU Cooler ($26.99 @ J&R)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($144.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: A-Data XPG Gaming Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($62.99 @ Newegg)

For HDD space I would get 1TB or more. I put a 2TB in the parts list because it was only $10 more than the Seagate 1TB 7200RPM both are reliable and cheap. For this setup the 550w PSU will be plenty. I went ahead and put in the newest i5 K series chip, but if you can get the older one for much cheaper then go for it. Just make sure for the 3570K CPU you listed originally you get a socket 1155 Z77 motherboard. For the newer 4670K, you need a socket 1150 Z87 motherboard.
