I have the Asus P6X58D Premium motherboard, and i am thinking of giving it away, but I am not sure whether the Express gate SSD feature may hold any of my personal data.
I am not sure how the Express gate works ( i know its an ssd ,500MB with Linux OS for faster boot up, so you could access the internet faster, and view some of the files located on your hdd ).
Through the Express gate you can view photos and videos stored on your hard drive, but i was wondering whether the act of viewing them, also stores them on the ssd.
In other words does the ssd retain any of the data located on the main hard drive?
(Express Gate is referred to as Splashtop OS)
