Parts:

Rosewill Capstone 650W PSU
MSI E35 FM2 Motherboard
AMD A4-5300 CPU
G.Skill 2x2GB RAM
Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD

Upon powering up the system, the CPU fan kicks on as it should, but nothing is displayed. A VGA cable is connected from the motherboard to the monitor. No beeps or similar sound either. I have tried reseating the RAM, and still nothing. CPU, and Motherboard all have power connected as well.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is all the cables connected correctly. Is the ram is compatible. Try to plug 1 ram only, Reset the bios(CMOS) and if can try to update it. Give it a shit :D .

Tried the RAM solution prior; no dice. Removed the mobo battery and moved the jumper to reset CMOS, still nothing. So still stuck. Maybe the CPU is fried?

Power Supply tested fine from another build. No lights on the motherboard to light up to indicate activity, but the CPU fan spins and all.

Maybe you need to flash the bios

Huh. Reinstalled CPU and now it seems to be good. Thanks for the advice, although there is no problem now. :D
