3.Support for DDR3 2200(OC)/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules

just wondering if I bought some ram that was faster then 1600, and underclocked it but lowered the timings if it would still work when my motherboard says what the title of this post is?

Either just get 1600/7 or I'd say 1866/8 or 2133/9 both should run 1600 at CL7 and a lower than stock voltage - the 2133/11 set mentioned above will be about the same as a stock entry 1600/9 set

I think I did a bit of overkill but I ordered cl10 2400 trident X ram, it's underclockable to 1600 if necessary. For 90 bucks for 2x4, seems to be a pretty good deal, I know I read a lot about these sticks coming doa or dying but i'm not gonna even run them at stock speeds so hopefully then dying won't be an issue.
