Hello guys, I was wondering will this build be good for a $830 dollar Gaming PC? I bought an Avatar gaming desktop for like $820 in a special sale but it came with a faulty CPU which reached 80c doing absolutely nothing.

You have nothing to worry about with neither you CPU nor your PSU, they are both very good products.

The power supply is very robust and is built to last; it boasts a 70% efficiency rating and a ultra silent 120mm fan...

Nice build, very similar to mine! I would go for the Corsair CX600 personally as they are a very good brand and it is a safe and reliable PSU.

Good amount of RAM and a VERY nice GPU. GOOD LUCK!

Thank you for the opinion, the shipping to Puerto Rico costs about 90$ all of that hahaha goes more than $900 but I think I will use the shoprunner 30 day free to get the shipping and then cancel the service.

Had a problem with the shoprunner. Didnt want to cover me so I had to buy the parts over here which unfortunately isn's a good thing to do and we just got an:

AMD FX-8350
Kingston 8gb
WD black 1TB
the CD/DVD player.
GTX 760 Superclocked with ACX cooling
Cooler master extreme power plus 600W
Cougar solution midi tower
A gigabyte motherboard which I dont know nothign about hahaha.

I really dont trust that power supply at all and I dont like getting AMD, any info about that PSU and what should I be worried about?

The power supply is very robust and is built to last; it boasts a 70% efficiency rating and a ultra silent 120mm fan.

The processor is an amazing piece of technology, it is one of very few 8 CORE CPUs available. It runs at 4GHz and is able to achieve 4.5 with over clocking. You have nothing to worry about with AMD, I own they very same processor and I love it to pieces.

They only thing I would say is you might NEED AN AFTER MARKET COOLER because this can get very hot under stress (i'm talking 1080p video editing stress.) Click the link below to see my unboxing and installation video of the FX 8350.

Hope this helps!

Thank you, Im going to buy n aftermarket cooler for the CPU and possibly change the PSU to a SolidGear 850W Power Supply - ATX, Single 12V Rail, 120mm Nano Fan, Anti-radiation Filter, Short Circuit, Over Voltage & Over Power Protection - SDGR-850E

Since it has the same price and its better plus better reviews about it.

PLEASE go back to the Corsair CX600..... (or, you'll be posting Next about issue your having with your computer "died"...)

NONE of these supplies will do a good job...

- Rosewill doesn't make a good supply...
- Solidgear is misleadingly rated a 400watt supply at best
http://www.jonnyguru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10806
http://www.solidgearusa.com/en/product_4/6/
- Coolermaster Extreme power plus 600 (that's only a 430watt supply on +12volts

A great power supply is the Corsair CX600, the CX series is granted with the '80 bronze' efficiency rating.

If you're looking for amazing power management for only £10 more the get the CX600m (modular.) With modular you can remove all the cable you don't need.
